Meet Amy Lungren, MD, FACOG

About

Dr. Amy Lungren is a board-certified gynecologist and obstetrician practicing in Flower Mound, Texas. In addition to helping women maintain optimal whole body health as an OB/GYN, she is a partner physician at Seasons Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Chairman of the OB/GYN Committee at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Flower Mound.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in Special Education from the University of North Texas and spending three years as a teacher, Dr. Lungren decided to find her true calling in medical school. She then earned her degree from Texas Southwestern Medical School and served as Chief Resident at St. Paul University Hospital in the final year of her residency. During her rotations, when she was able to get hands-on experience in each specialty, Dr. Lungren gravitated towards OB/GYN since that specialty afforded her the opportunity to have such a positive influence on women’s whole body health.

Not only has Dr. Lungren spent over two decades practicing OB/GYN, but she very quickly incorporated hormone replacement therapy (HRT) into her methods of optimizing comprehensive wellness. Yet, she soon realized that standard HRT did not always address the symptoms and health conditions of the aging process for everybody. As she researched integrative anti-aging therapies, Dr. Lungren came to understand that every patient is different and might not respond the same way to standard HRT. Eventually, she discovered EVEXIAS Health Solutions and realized that they would allow her the opportunity to provide customized care for each individual patient through EvexiPEL pellet therapy.
